Fire Flies - Get back to nature with a night away from Kuala Lumpur to a small coastal village called Kuala Selangor. A boat ride along the river of Kuala Selangor where one can spot the famous fireflies during the night. The fireflies are all found on the mangrove tree species called berembang. It is said that this is one of the biggest fireflies’ colonies in the world. These are also known 'Lightning Bugs' and they shine brightly at night to attract a suitable partner. Often their flashing becomes synchronized and the overall effect is just like the twinkling lights of a Christmas tree.
Silver Leaf Monkey - The Silvered Leaf monkeys are adorable and friendly animals that live on the Melawati Hills. These monkeys live on shoots, young leaves and wild fruits. They tend to live in clusters of 6 to 10 and their infants are orange in color, often turn silver after 3 months. You will be provided with snacks such as green leaves and fruits to feed to the Monkeys. Prepare for a close encounter with nature at its best as the Monkeys may climb all over you to reach for the food!
Melawati Hill – The view from on top of this hill is panoramic. On a clear day, visitors can see the Malacca Straits. The sunset view at this hill is rated among the nicest in the country. A little fishing settlement can be viewed from the hill as well.
